The process of condoms electronically tested
Do you know how the condom tested? Have you ever seen the sentence “Condoms are 100% electrically tested” on the package of some condoms? This is just one of the few tests which condom manufacturers perform on the newly made condoms before packaging and delivery. So do you how does it work?
After the newly made condoms have taken shape, workers will stretch them over a stainless steel mould which looks very similar to the male penis. The condom-covered moulds are then submerged into a water solution charged with an electrical current, and electrical activity of the rods is then monitored with a computer. Since latex (the material used to make most modern condoms) is an insulator, the computer should not detect any electricity from the moulds unless there are tiny holes in the condom.
So no current activity on the stainless steel moulds is good as this suggests the condom’s integrity is fully intact. However, if electrical current passes through the condom onto the rod, then that condom must have some holes and is immediately thrown away. As an OEM condoms manufacturer, our condoms are 100% electronically tested. Email: linda@oemcondoms.com
