Could something make condom less effective?
Seminal fluid can sometimes get into the vagina during sex, even you have used a condom. This may happen if the below cases:
1.Tthe penis maybe touch the area around the vagina before use a condom.
2. The condoms split or come off
3. The condoms are damaged by sharp fingernails or other sharp things
4. You use oil-based lubricants, such as lotion, baby oil or petroleum jelly, with latex or polyisoprene condoms - this oil-based lubricants can damage the condom
5. You are using medication for conditions like thrush, such as creams, pessaries or suppositories - this can damage latex and polyurethane condoms and stop them working properly
6. If you think that sperm has entered the vagina, talk to your doctors at a contraception clinic about emergency contraception and the risk of STIs.
Not only use condoms, you can use other forms of contraception, such as the contraceptive pill, for extra protection against pregnancy. However, other forms of contraception will not protect you against STIs. OEM condom manufacturers and suppliers. Email: linda@oemcondoms.com
