Condoms lubricated with spermicide (nonoxynol-9)

Condoms lubricated with spermicide (nonoxynol-9) have no additional benefit in the prevention of pregnancy, they have a shorter shelf life, and they may even cause infections in women. Since many condom manufacturers have stopped manufacturing condoms with nonoxynol-9 and the distribution of condoms so lubricated has been discontinued. Should you come across spermicide lubricated condoms, we don't recommend you reselling these to your customers.


You should also check to see if nonoxynol-9 is used in any of the lubricants you will be sourcing.
